What are the stress causes which make you spiral out of control

A list of stress causes could in truth be practically infinite.

There seem to be so many ‘things’ which stress us out in this busy, hectic paced world.

But the truth is that there are many of us who don’t realize that what we're doing is stressing us out.

So this list is a wake up call, a realization that you are not the only person to get stressed, not the only person to find things stressful in this world.

Once you see what causes you stress you can then do something about it. You can avoid the stressful situations or you can learn stress relief techniques so you can deal with them.

Common things which cause stress are:

Living in a city can be stressful

• Doing a boring or repetitive job

• Doing a job which doesn’t interest you

• Having deadlines to beat

• Family gatherings

• Being made redundant

• Losing your job

• Noisy neighbours

• Snoring partners

• Health problems

• Not getting your own way

• Not being able to sleep or insomnia

• Being criticized by other people

• Financial worries

• Being in a recession

• Divorce

• Traffic jams

• Politics and politicians

• Intrusive advertising

• Aggressive and rude people

• Going on holiday

• Getting married

• Having kids

The biggest causes of stress are:

• Being attacked or being the victim of a crime

• The death of a family member, partner or close friend

• Having a long term illness

• Being bullied or picked at work or school

• Moving house




Doing something about stress

It’s not very happy reading but the truth is that these things do happen.

Sure they’re not pleasant, but they still exist.

Basically, anything can get us stressed. The list above could go on and on and on.

What makes it all the more difficult nowadays, is that these stressful situations seem to roll one in the other.

But and this is the all important but, there is so much we can do about these 'stress causes'. There are so many stress relief techniques we can use to deal with this stress.

What I am trying to point out is that you are not alone. Many people have gone through similar things.

But what many people are not doing is what you are. By reading and wanting to learn how to relieve stress using tools like meditation, or exercise shows that you want to do something about it.
