The Law of Attraction
How to introduce more wealth, joy and abundance into your life
The law of attraction is a very powerful tool you can use to not only reduce stress in your life but also to start to live the life of your dreams.
What is the law of attraction?
This universal law states that like attracts like.
What does this mean? This means that if you are always thinking and talking about how stressed you are then you are more likely to attract people to you who are also stressed and anxious.
Think about it, if you are always talking about stress - the people who are not stressed or are not interested in it will either keep away or not engage in conversation with you.
If on the other hand you are always positive and upbeat even when things are challenging, you will attract other people who see life like this.
Another way you can look at the law of attraction is by what we think about. Notice how your face looks when you are worrying and thinking about how bad life is.
It's not a pretty sight is it? Lines on the face, a scowl, basically an unhappy look right?
Well, when you are thinking those thoughts you will react to situations and people from this space of stress. And they can see you are stressed (just as you can tell you're stressed from looking in the mirror) and therefore they feel stressed around you as well. So it turns into a spiral - and until you stop the spiral and spiraling out of control, you keep attracting stressful situations.
How To Use The Law of Attraction
The law of attraction states that everything starts with a thought. If you think of anything created in the universe like the clothes you are wearing or the chair you are sat on, it all started with a thought.
The carpenter thought of a design which then was turned into a chair. He drew the design out and then made it.
So what this law states in relation to stress and stress management is that, be very careful what you are thinking about.
If you are always worrying about how bad it is, you are going to create a life which is that - bad.
If, on the otherhand, you focus on the good, you get that instead.
So where did I learn all of this?
The Science of Getting Rich
There is a book by Wallace Wattles called the Science of Getting Rich. It is a classic which has been used to change millions of people's lives over the last century - it was written in 1903.
I learned a lot about how to attract more wealth into my life from this book and from teachers from the film The Secret like Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale and Michael Beckwith.
