These past few weeks have been very busy for me. I have been setting up a new company and doing all the different things that this entails:

- Setting up bank accounts

- Searching for a business name

- Networking

- Working on my website etc

And these past few weeks have also been a time of change. I have moved house, moved in with my partner and started several new ventures and past-times.

But my lesson from these past few weeks has been that sometimes when the world is very hectic all we can do is breathe.

Breathe in...

And breathe out...

Everything else is extra.

I found this advice to be very helpful when I was living in a Buddhist monastery. Sometimes life would be very challenging and I would feel that I couldn't cope with it all - the silence (I spent 6 months in silence over the 3 years I was there), the rules and vows, and the lack of things to do!

But when things got difficult I knew that the only thing I "had" to do was breathe. If I did anything else, well, that was a bonus. I knew that I could succeed with breathing so I learned that I could always be successful.

How wonderful!

From going from a perspective of feeling that I couldn't do anything right to feeling, well, I can breathe so I must be doing just fine.

So when things get a little hectic...

So when things seem to be getting out of hand...

When the world around you seem to be losing their heads...

Remember that there is only one thing that you need to do...

Yes, you guessed it... Breathe!

So take a few minutes now to breathe:

Breathe in...

Breathe out... relax the shoulders...

Breathe in...

And breathe out... well done my friend...
